Prior to November 1986
Our investment officers successfully managed the operating funds of the AMR Corporation Treasury Department. Their investment success led to the formal creation of American Beacon Advisors, Inc. to provide business management, advisory, administrative and asset management consulting services to individual and institutional investors.
2005
AMR Investment Services, Inc. changed its name to American Beacon Advisors, Inc. Under the new name, the firm’s mutual fund products, previously marketed as American AAdvantage Funds, became the American Beacon Funds.
